The reconditioning process can give a car battery a second life. Here's how it works.
Get rid of the sulfation on the inside of the battery. When your battery gets used over and over again, corrosion builds up on the lead plates inside. This makes it harder for them to hold a charge, and it muddies up the acid, which makes it less effective. We desulfate the lead plates and check the acid/water ratio.
We clean the batteries on the outside. This includes dirt, grease, rust, corrosion, torn labels, etc. It's hot and dirty under the hood, so we use a large "dishwasher" to steam clean every battery, this is how they come out so clean.
Recharge and test every battery. Each reconditioned car battery is connected to a custom-built charging-and-testing station, which simulates a vehicle's load on the battery. This is proprietary technology that you can't find anywhere else. We make sure your battery is good to go before it goes out the door.
We clean out the insides of every battery.
The dishwasher gets our batteries squeaky clean.
We charge and test every battery.
The result is a car battery that's clean from the inside out, and reconditioned to work like new. And if that's still not good enough, each reconditioned battery comes with a free 90-day, full-replacement warranty.
